What Can Be Done About Global Warming
Global warming is not a myth it is a reality and will certainly effect every person on this planet.We have the power to stop global warming and reverse the damage it has caue the planet if we do something right now.
I cannot believe that people are not paying attention to the events that are unfolding all around us. Sure signs that are life threatening and changing.Take for instance the hurricane Katrina and Louisiana. You would think that after that horrific event that people would open their eyes and say to themselves,hey this is not a safe place to live but no,nobody sees it that way.A few later here comes another hurricane that appears to be quite dangerous. The people of Louisiana are ordered to evacuate however some people stay knowing good and well what could happen to them.So what do we do knowing that this is not a safe place to rebuild,we rebuild it and wait for the next catastrophic event to come and cause massive destruction so we can say hey ,that won’t happen again.
The people of the world need to open their eyes and take control while we still can. That means doing away with oil and fossil fuels and turning towards technology that we could use that is not damaging to the earth and its residents.Technology that is in existence and ready to be used. How do we stop big business from ruining the world. It would not be easy in fact it would be a war. A private war among the rich,it would deal a heavy blow to the world economy and then it would straighten itself out.
Greed is the drive behind big oil companies,When the government sees fit they will place heavy taxes on these companies instead of giving them huge tax breaks.Much like they have done to the tobacco companies. Everybody knows that smoking can kill you so what do we do,place heavy taxes on the industry.The same thing goes for oil. People believe that oil and is the only way an engine can run.Some people know that this is not true.
Take for instance the Toyota Prius. This was not a very popular vehicle a few years ago and now it is the most sought after vehicle in America. It runs on gas and eletricity. Gas and electricity,what a concept.I know that the vehicle can run on just electricity so why don’t we build that car and use it.
We know that Hydrogen will run a vehicle as well thats why Honda has built the FCX Clarity which happens to run its engine on hydrogen and electricity.Hydrogen comes from water,the most abundant element on the planet.Hydrogen cost alot of money to produce,so they say.I know for a fact that hydrogen can be produced very inexpensivly and on a massive scale. They would have you believe that hydrogen is expensive so that they may charge the consumer for it and keep their profits up.
Every vehicle on this planet can run on hydrogen. This is a fact,if we have one hydrogen car we can have billions. Hydrogen can be produced inside of a vehicle and used as it is made,this is called Hydrogen On Demand. With a system like the Supplemental Hydrogen Fuel System that creates hydrogen from the vehicles alternator. This is hydrogen that is produced from a Hydrogen Fuel Cell. Water is placed in a container with the fuel cell and then electricity is run through the water and causes a reaction with the fuel cell which is made of steel. This reaction releases the hydrogen from the water and it can then be used as fuel.Hydrogen is 3 times more powerful than gasoline and when it is burned the only byproduct is water.
Instead of gasious fumes you only have water vapor.Doesnt that sound like the answer to our dependence on fossil fuels. Imagine a world full of vehicles that ran on water or hydrogen. This would certainly help put an end to global warming.
This same concept which is already in use today can be applied to the creation of electricity. A power plant that runs on water-hydrogen. Your monthly electric bill would never cost you an arm and a leg again. In fact electricity would be practically free.
Free,doesnt that sound awesome. Well in the future that is going to be the way it is and there is no stopping it.
