Setting Your Goals And Keeping Them On Fire

Do you or anyone in your family have goals that they want to achieve sometime in their life? If you do, there are three things that you need to do to help you with reaching these goals. First, you must know the reason why you might want this goal. Then you might want to write it down. Last, put it somewhere that you will be able to see it every day until you reach this goal, and remember that you can have more than one goal at a time, but you will usually want to do one at a time.

When you do these steps, the goals you have set for yourself will become easier to achieve because you will visualize what it will be like. After you do achieve this goal, you need to watch closely what it brings to you every day and realize it every night. When you go to set the next goal you might have in mind, you might want to add a deadline that you want to make this goal by. This goal that you are trying for next might be a little bit harder to achieve, so you must keep reminding yourself about it every day and put action to trying to keep it alive in your thoughts.

If you don’t do these steps, you might not be able to achieve your goals, and they might just turn out to be dreams. Either way, these goals will start out like a fire spark that might turn into a raging fire or a puff of smoke, but it all depends on you.

If and when you have children, you will want to make them understand the importance of having goals set for them. Maybe try to make them realize that if they don’t finish school that their dreams or goals might not come to be. If you have a child that is thinking about dropping out of school, ask them if they will meet their goals if they do this. Then ask them what they think they should do to try to get back on track to achieve this goal.

If you are just starting to set your goals, you might want to start out small and build on each one after you have achieved the first, as this will help put that fire back into your soul to want to do anything possible to achieve the next goals you make.
