- If the water came from a clean and sanitary location, it is a Category 1. – If the contamination in the water may make you sick or cause discomfort, it is a Category 2. – If death or illness could result from swallowing the water, it is a Category 3.
Move items out of the area that are not damaged and may get in the way of the company performing the restoration. Reason being is that if they have to move it you will be charged for it.
